Recient Reviews and blogs about the work:
have a reception tonight (thursday) at PlaySpace Gallery in SF for a collaborative drawing installation between myself and curator Jan Van Woensel who has been teaching in the curatorial program at CCA this fall.

SATURDAY in Oakland I am in a group show at FiveTen gallery ( www.fivetenstudio.com) The show is called BAILOUT and is featuring works priced under $400.

For those of you in New York I'm participating in Night of 1000 Drawings a fund-raising auction at Artist Space gallery. Drawings start at $50! This is a great way to support the arts this consumerism time of year.
Im including a pic on my piece that will be up for sale.

Those of you in Portland I have work up at Visage Gallery in the pearl district as part of Haste Management, a LNPB show (www.lnpb.org).
WHAT WE BOUGHT
Alicia Escott & Cameron Kelly wrapped all the front magazines for sale on the magazine rack in plain, brown paper at Farleys, a gesture towards quieting all the subliminal slogans/ tag lines/ eye candy/ media. Dan Chan photographed the installation. We'll reinstall the work for tomorrows opening only. But the photo will be exhibited for the entirety of the show. It's called "Covered, Oct.1st, 2008"

Featuring work by Elisheva Biernoff, Sunghee Chang, Alicia Escott, Cameron Kelly, Matthew Gordon, Rebekah May, Ashley Lauren Saks, Imin Yeh and Glen Helfand.

Curated by Jaime Austin.
